Some things you should know about fitness

When we mention the word “fitness”, everybody think about gym, cardio workout, strength exercising. But the signification of this word is wider and includes a lot of disciplines.

Nowadays people pay more attention to physical activity than in the past years. They are well informed about the physical and mental benefits of exercising and for this reason they try to find time for themselves.

There are so many options you can exercise, also don’t get bored or overtired. For example:

8. Swimming etc….





So as you see there are different options and be sure that you can find something that you’ll enjoy, that relax and exercise you at the same time. Here are some tips how to make exercising more enjoyable and not boring:

  • Set a goal

When you start something, you know what results you want and why you are doing that. So, if you are trying to lose weight, to tone up your muscles or just to stay fit, act with discipline and don’t miss your lessons. Having a goal can motivate you and induce to work seriously to realize what you want.

  • Try new things

Break up the routine and try something new you never tried before. From the different activities we mentioned you can choose one of them and maybe you can really enjoy it. If you like the nature, try jogging in the park. Or if you like the music try dancing or zumba. The important fact is that in a way or another you exercise and stay fit. 

  • Always with music

Music is very important in a physical activity especially if it is intense exercising. The rhythm encourages you and makes time pass so quickly that you don’t realize how. An exception is Yoga, where the music is inappropriate or you can put something slow, relaxing and low volume. This is because Yoga is a meditation and you have to be concentrated.

  • Get a partner

Is a good idea if you have someone else with you in your workout. He/she can motivate you more than you motivate yourself, but only if they love exercising is not the same thing if tour friend is a lazy one. 

  • Reward yourself

Give your self some kind of present when you get the results you wanted. For example for every pound lost, buy jewelry or your preferred dress.  In this way is simpler to reach your goal and to go on with your working-out. 

  • Sign up improvements

Doing this you will be conscious of the benefits that the workout gave to you. You’ll be pleased by that and more motivated to continue regularly. If you see that something work properly and give you what you want, it’s a boost for your activity. 


  • Short exercising

 Shorter workouts can be better than longer ones, if the intensity is higher. In general long hours of workout are not recommended. 30 minutes a day are enough to stay fit. 
  • Be most focused on diet 

Diet and healthy nourishment is like 80% of our health and exercising is 20%. So, if you expect that only exercising intensively will make you healthy and fit, you are wrong. These two things are very strongly related together, and you will not have the maximum results if you don’t combine these two things. Eat healthy and exercise regularly and you will find your perfect body shape.  

Now forget the computer and go out for some exercising. It’s never to late.
